VAX on a Board – NuVAX Model 1000 is a brand new processor that replaces your VAX processor, memory, disks and tape drives in the VAX chassis. Your applications are transferred onto NuVAX’s self-contained hard drive and run without modification with VAX emulation software. Existing specialized Q-bus controllers and equipment are supported without any configuration changes.
This model is suited for applications embedded in computer bays where packaging and cabling changes are not practical. The Model 1000 allows you to retain your VAX chassis, Q-bus controllers, and cables. |

NuVAX 2000 - The NuVAX 2000 is a VAX system replacement for your VAX chassis, CPU, memory, and mass storage devices. Your current VAX disk images can be transferred onto a modern NuVAX system.
The NuVAX 2000 consists of all new equipment:
a Qbus chassis with power supply and Qbus backplane;
a NuVAX 1000 processor with memory and disks; and
four available quad-width slots (or eight dual-width slots)
for your Qbus controllers. |

The NuVAX 3200 is a complete VAX system replacement for
your VAX chassis, CPU, memory, mass storage, and Qbus
controllers. Your current VAX disk images can be transferred
onto a modern NuVAX system. Qbus controllers can be replaced
with QP option modules, new PCI controllers that are software
and hardware-compatible with Qbus interfaces.
